Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. What is CBG (Compressed Bio Gas)?

CBG is purified and compressed biogas produced from organic waste. It is a renewable, eco-friendly fuel that can replace CNG in vehicles, industries, and commercial applications.

2. How is CBG produced?

CBG is produced through anaerobic digestion of organic waste. Raw biogas is generated and then:
● Cleaned
● Dehumidified
● Purified (CO₂ & H₂S removal)
● Compressed to produce CBG.

3. What raw materials are required for a CBG plant?

Common feedstocks include:
● Cow dung
● Agricultural residue
● Press mud
● Food/kitchen waste
● Municipal organic waste
● Organic industrial waste (as permitted)

4. What are the outputs of a CBG plant?

A CBG plant produces:
● CBG (Compressed Bio Gas)
● Organic slurry / organic fertiliser
● Recoverable CO₂ (if opted)

5. What are the benefits of a CBG plant?

● Converts waste into energy
● Reduces pollution & methane emissions
● High market demand
● Extra revenue from organic fertiliser
● Government support & incentives
● Supports circular economy
● Reduces reliance on fossil fuels

6. Do you provide EPC / Turnkey solutions?

Yes, we offer full EPC services—designing, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and training.

7. Do you assist with approvals & licenses?

Yes. We assist with:
● PESO approvals
● State Pollution Control Board
● Factory license
● GAIL/OMC coordination
● Other statutory clearances required

8. How much land is required for a CBG plant?

Approximate land requirement:
2–5 TPD: 0.5 – 1 acre
10–20 TPD: 1 – 2 acres
30–50 TPD: 2 – 3 acres
100+ TPD: 3 – 5 acres

9. What is the minimum capacity for installation?

We supply CBG plants from 2 TPD to 200+ TPD feedstock capacity.

10. What is the typical ROI (Return on Investment)?

Most CBG plants achieve a payback period of around 3–4 years, depending on feedstock cost and selling price.

11. Who buys CBG?

● Industries (boilers, furnaces)
● Hotels & restaurants
● Transport fleets
● CBG retail stations
● Commercial establishments
● OMCs (IOCL, BPCL, HPCL) under SATAT*

12. Do you help with SATAT LOI/offtake?

Yes, complete documentation and guidance for SATAT applications and offtake arrangements are provided.

13. What after-sales services do you offer?

● O&M services
● AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract)
● Troubleshooting support
● Remote monitoring
● Operator training

14. Do you provide carbon credit support?

Yes, we assist with eligibility check, documentation, verification, and carbon credit trading support.

15. Can a CBG plant run on mixed feedstock?

Yes, our digester designs support multi-feedstock operations depending on the waste composition.

16. What safety standards do you follow?

Plants are designed as per:
● PESO norms
● PNGRB guidelines
● National biogas safety standards
● Fire & explosion safety norms

17. What is done with the organic slurry?

The slurry is further processed into organic fertiliser, which can be used on farms or sold commercially.

18. How can I get a quotation?

Provide details on:
● Feedstock type & quantity
● Location
● Available land
● Desired production scale
A customised proposal will be shared within 3–5 working days.
